Henry Vogt Machine Company Founded

Henry Vogt establishes the Henry Vogt Machine Company in Louisville, Kentucky — beginning a legacy that would span more than 140 years of American industrial manufacturing.

1902

Enters Boiler Business

Vogt expands into industrial boiler manufacturing, laying the engineering foundation that would one day lead to the development of Heat Recovery Steam Generator technology.

1962

World's First HRSG

Vogt engineers and installs the world's first Heat Recovery Steam Generator — a milestone that establishes the company as a pioneer in combined cycle power generation technology.

Vogt delivers the industry's first three-pressure HRSG — increasing thermodynamic efficiency and setting a new standard for combined cycle power plant design that is still the benchmark today.

1988

First Reheat & F-Class HRSG

Vogt completes the industry's first reheat HRSG and first F-Class HRSG for a GE Frame 7F gas turbine — marking the company's entry into large-frame advanced turbine class combined cycle plants.

Vogt introduces the Lifecycle Contract Asset Management Program (LCAMP) — a comprehensive digital service program giving plant operators direct access to engineering data, inspection records, parts inventory, and scheduled maintenance planning.

Once-Through Steam Generator

Vogt enters the OTSG market with a purpose-built once-through steam generator design, expanding the company's product portfolio to serve enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) applications.

2014

Rapid Response Program

Launch of the Rapid Response Parts Program — ensuring that critical HRSG components including harps, headers, tubes, and pressure parts can be delivered on shortened lead times to minimize unplanned outage duration.

2017

Largest HRSG Ever Built

Vogt Power completes engineering and manufacturing of the largest HRSG ever constructed — a unit installed behind a GE 9HA.02 gas turbine in a 550+ MW combined cycle plant, setting the industry record that stands to this day.
