Frequently Asked
Questions

Yes. Vogt Power's field engineering, inspection, retrofit, and parts services are available for any HRSG — regardless of the original manufacturer. Our engineers have worked on units made by Nooter/Eriksen, Rentech, Foster Wheeler, Alstom, and others. We apply the same OEM-level engineering rigor to every service engagement, regardless of who built the original unit.
After receiving complete project information (turbine selection, site data, steam conditions, emissions requirements), Vogt Power typically delivers a technical proposal within 4–8 weeks. For projects requiring detailed thermal modeling and pressure part design, the engineering cycle may extend to 10–12 weeks. Urgent competitive bid schedules can often be accommodated — contact our team to discuss your requirements.
The minimum information needed for a preliminary thermal study is: gas turbine make/model/frame size, site elevation and design ambient temperature, required HRSG steam conditions (HP/IP/LP pressures and temperatures), desired plant MW output, and applicable emissions requirements (NOx/CO limits). If supplemental duct firing is required, the target steam production at full duct firing should also be provided. The more complete your site data, the more accurate our initial proposal will be.
Yes. Our Rapid Response Parts Program maintains inventory of critical HRSG components — HARPs, header fittings, tubes, gaskets, and pressure-boundary seals — for expedited delivery on emergency outages. Vogt Power can also fabricate replacement HARPs through Boiler Tube Company of America (BTA) on compressed schedules for non-stocked items. Call our main line at 502-899-4500 and describe your emergency — our team will assess what we have in stock and what we can expedite.
LCAMP (Lifecycle Contract Asset Management Program) is Vogt Power's comprehensive digital service program designed for any plant operator who owns or operates an HRSG — Vogt or competitor unit. LCAMP provides direct access to your HRSG's engineering data, inspection history, parts traceability, and performance benchmarking. It's particularly valuable for plants that have changed ownership, experienced performance degradation, or have limited access to original OEM documentation. Contact us to discuss an enrollment assessment for your plant.
Absolutely. Vogt Power designed and manufactured the largest HRSG ever built — a unit installed behind a GE 9HA.02 gas turbine in 2017. Our V-Max and V-One product lines are specifically designed for H-class turbines (GE 7HA.01, 7HA.02, 9HA.01, 9HA.02, Mitsubishi M501JAC, Siemens SGT6/5-8000H). These H-class HRSGs use triple-pressure reheat configurations and are optimized for 550+ MW combined cycle plant efficiency. Contact our engineering team to discuss your specific H-class project requirements.
